Positive: Big comfortable room, great location, nice staff, decent breakfast

Negative: The room was mostly clean but there was chewed gum on the bed side table. Doors cannot be locked from the inside, my kids could get out themselves which means we needed to keep an eye all the time.

Positive: The staff was very polite and hospitable throughout our stay. We had a late arrival but did their best to accommodate our requests. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a magnificent view of the main bridge, the town center and the castle. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet - all the main options were available. The location itself is excellent, right across the town so that the street is not that busy, but still easy to walk to the center. Great options for food and drinks are close by. We would certainly recommend it for a weekend getaway or for longer stays

Positive: Perfect for our short stay in Cochem. The location was the top among many other advantages. The staffs were friendly, and the breakfast with a variety of food/drinks was much better than our expectation.

Negative: A few hairs in the bathroom and on the pillow. But not that critical. We had overall very positive stay at this hotel.

Positive: The breakfast is of a very high standard. The hot food is delicious and topped up regularly and very well presented. Fresh bread rolls, orange juice and excellent coffee. All tables are cleaned the moment they are vacated. Its an excellent service overseen by a dedicated small team. They should be complemented on an excellent service.

Negative: Nothing to complain about.

Summary: A great location, very good standard of accommodation, delicious breakfast.Our favourite hotel!

Positive: The sun shone on the hotel in the evening. Good view of Cochem, yet out of the main part.

Negative: The staff were pleasant, but not really welcoming. The room was tidy but not particularly clean. Shower room was cramped but adequate. The room was a premium double. Quite noisy for us.

Positive: Great location (1 bridge away from the city center), spacious and silent room with comfortable bed, easy/cheap parking spot and good german breakfast and service.

Negative: Very basic hotel/room and unprofessional staff. E.g. 1) 80% of all shops, bars and restaurants were closed because it's off season. When asking for help (in German) regarding where to have dinner, the reception lady didn't help us to find a solution ('no idea which restaurants are open today'). E.g. 2) Also, after having breakfast between 8AM en 9AM, the cleaning ladies showed up at our door at 9.10 AM while we were taking a shower. When requesting to come back at 9.20 AM, they agreed, but ended up in not returning at all that day and just dropping a bag with towels at the front door.

Summary: Price/quality a good choice, but very basic and unhelpful staff
